Seminar on viking martial arts in the Netherlands!
merlyn writes "In the month of may there wil be a Seminar on medival viking wrestling called; "Glima".
Hosted by the European Historical Combat guild. The seminar wil be held in the Netherlands and organized by a Dutch, and a Danisch chapter of the guild. Also there wil be involvement of researchers and partakers of the "viking warrior project" that is curently hosted by the Danisch roskilde viking schip museum.
The seminar wil last for 3 days and wil end with the traditional barbaque. It is an open seminar that wil aspire to educate people about the viking warrior mentality, the ancient viking martial art of Glima (wrestling) and how it was used
